How to Convert 2D Blu-ray to Side-By-Side 3D

You have professional 3D glasses but not enough 3D videos to enjoy? Just use DVDFab 2D to 3D Converter and Blu-ray Ripper (3D Plus) to convert 2D Blu-rays to side-by-side 3D videos for great 3D effect. Get started with this simple tutorial and try out yourself. It’s darn easy.

Step 1: Start up DVDFab 9, choose Ripper option and load in the source

Start up DVDFab 9 and choose Ripper option. And you can see the main interface of Ripper. Insert BD into Blu-ray drive for DVDFab to load it in.

Step 2: Choose a profile for the output 3D

Open Profile box to navigate to 3D Format (supported by 2D to 3D Converter). Then you can see all supported 3D formats and profiles. Just choose your favorite profile.

Step 3: Set 3D format to be side-by-side

Click Advanced Settings button on the main interface, go to 3D tab, then choose side-by-side 3D as the 3D Format. Besides, you can set the 3D effect by changing the Gain value and Visual Depth. You can also go to the Video tab and Audio tab to set video and audio parameters.

OK. After all these settings, you can go to set video effect by clicking Edit button on the main interface.

Step 4: Start conversion

Hit Start button to start conversion. During the process, you can view all detailed progress info and preview the progress with real time images.
